This is a course on how to do technical dives using sidemount configuration.
It is a course designed for divers who are already technical qualified who wish to perform technical
dives using sidemount equipment.
Alternately you may opt to do your Technical courses using the sidemount configuration.
You will learn about the benefits and skills involved in this style of diving, as well as how to
configure your kit and use it for sidemount diving as well as trim techniques and buoyancy control
You will need a harness and buoyancy system suitable for sidemount diving.
You will also require 2 x cylinders for back gas, with suitable mounting hardware and two
regulators , one with a 1.5 metre to a 2.1 metre hose, both with spg’s and low pressure inflator
You will also require 2 x stage decompression cylinders, both with regulators and spg’s.
Course Structure ;
The course consists of approx one full day in the classroom and workshop, and then 1 x confined
water dive followed by 4 x open water dives.
The course costs just £250.00.
